Cancellation policy

Tripza Cars Limited (trading as Tripza Transfers)

This policy explains how to cancel a Tripza Transfers booking, when refunds apply, and how to contact us for urgent changes. It works alongside our Terms & conditions.

Last updated:

1. Scope

This cancellation policy applies to private hire / airport transfer bookings made through Tripza Transfers (website or agreed channels), unless a different policy is expressly stated in your booking confirmation or at checkout for a specific fare or supplier.

2. How to cancel or amend

To cancel or change a booking, use Manage my booking (where available) or contact us via our Help / contact page with your booking reference and the email used to book. Amendments depend on driver availability and may change the price.

3. Cancellation rules

  • Free cancellation — You may cancel free of charge if you request cancellation at least 24 hours before your scheduled pick-up time (local time at the pick-up location).
  • Within 24 hours — Cancellations requested less than 24 hours before pick-up are not eligible for free cancellation. Your deposit may be retained and/or the full journey price may be charged because a driver and vehicle are already committed.
  • No-show — If you fail to meet the driver within the included waiting period, the booking may be treated as a no-show with no refund, as set out in our Terms & conditions.

4. Refund process

Eligible refunds (e.g. after a valid free cancellation) are reviewed by our team. Once approved, refunds are returned to your original payment method where possible. Please allow 3–5 business days after admin approval for the refund to appear on your statement (your bank or card issuer may take additional time).

The remaining balance paid to the driver on the day of travel is a separate matter between you and the driver and is not refunded through us unless we agree otherwise in writing.

5. Urgent cancellations

For journeys within 24 hours or immediate assistance, contact us directly — online cancellation may not be available:

6. Your statutory rights

If you are a consumer, nothing in this policy removes rights you have under UK law (including the Consumer Rights Act 2015) where those rights apply to your contract with us.
